Two talented artists came in to my SVA classes as guest lecturers last week. Maximilian Bode just got out of Pratt and already is a full time freelance illustrator. He is someone my senior students can look up to and learn from. June Kim is a successful illustrator (well known for her Jet album cover) but she keeps working on her passion, comics at the same time. She is working on her first book to be published from Tokyo Pop. Thank you guys!!
